A longtime reader of this newsletter, a very tough and seasoned CFO for the U.S. headquarters of a major global company, is looking to make a quiet change. This individual is highly experienced in global finance, int'l. cost reduction, sensible IT, Form 10 filing and wide-scale, multi-currency operations. In short, a well rounded finance professional. Poll Results for
U.S. Presidency 2004

Above are the results of the quick poll we took earlier this week. The nice thing about polling The Art of Corporate Warfare readership is there is nothing peculiarly fuzzy about the sample: Basically we're all strident capitalists at this cyber watering hole.

Therefore our sample is definitely skewed but in a useful and important direction: business leaders. So the results of the survey aren't a surprise. The purpose of the exercise though was to take this sample then compare the results to the election next Tuesday (VOTE!). The idea is to measure the voting spread between our profit, EPS focused group with that of the general population.

We know there's going to be a difference, we're just curious what it will prove to be. -T. Newhart
